Customer Data License Terms

Last updated: July 2026

Plain-English summary

Buyers may use Veltria data internally for business research and analytics. They may not resell, republish, sublicense, leak, or turn it into a competing data product. The dataset is company-level, not a personal contact database.

1. What these Customer Terms cover

These Customer Data License Terms apply when a customer evaluates, receives, purchases, or accesses a Veltria Data dataset, sample, custom slice, marketplace listing, or related data delivery unless a signed agreement or marketplace order says otherwise.

They are designed for business buyers who need company-level firmographics for research, market mapping, deal sourcing, CRM enrichment, and analytics workflows.

2. Dataset description

Veltria datasets contain company-level firmographic and segmentation attributes. Typical fields may include company name, website/domain, country, region, industry/category, estimated revenue band, employee/headcount signals, business descriptors, and related company-level attributes.

Veltria's standard marketplace datasets are not personal contact databases. Unless expressly agreed in writing, they do not include individual email addresses, direct phone numbers, personal addresses, sensitive personal data, or consumer profiles.

3. Evaluation samples

Evaluation samples are provided only so a qualified business buyer can assess structure, coverage, quality, and fit before purchase. Samples may be watermarked, limited, filtered, or reduced in fields.

A sample does not grant rights to resell, publish, scrape, build a competing product, or reconstruct a larger Veltria dataset. Veltria may limit one sample per business email or organization.

4. Standard license grant

After payment or marketplace approval, Veltria grants the named customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the purchased dataset internally for the licensed business purpose and licensed scope.

Internal use includes internal analysis, segmentation, market research, account planning, CRM enrichment, investment research, M&A sourcing, and internal reporting.

The license does not transfer ownership of the dataset. Veltria and its suppliers, where applicable, retain all rights not expressly granted.

5. Permitted outputs

Customers may create charts, dashboards, notes, models, recommendations, presentations, and aggregated insights derived from the licensed data for internal use or ordinary client advisory deliverables.

Permitted outputs must not expose the raw dataset, a substantial portion of records, or a substitute dataset that third parties could use instead of licensing Veltria data.

6. Prohibited uses

Customers may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, share, lease, lend, transfer, or make the raw data or substantially similar data available to third parties without written approval from Veltria.

Customers may not use the data to build a competing data product, data broker service, lead database, marketplace listing, API, enrichment service, or downloadable directory without a separate written license.

Customers may not use the data for unlawful discrimination, regulated eligibility decisions, consumer credit, employment eligibility, housing eligibility, insurance underwriting, sensitive profiling, harassment, or any use prohibited by applicable law.

Customers may not attempt to identify, infer, append, or reverse engineer personal data or sensitive attributes from company-level Veltria data in violation of privacy, data protection, marketplace, or platform rules.

7. Access control and security

Customers must protect delivered files and marketplace access using reasonable security measures. Access should be limited to employees, contractors, or advisors with a need to know for the licensed business purpose.

Customers are responsible for preventing unauthorized copying, export, public sharing, or redistribution. If a customer becomes aware of unauthorized access or misuse, it should notify Veltria promptly.

8. Marketplace access

If Veltria data is delivered through Databricks Marketplace, Delta Sharing, or another platform, the customer's use is also subject to that platform's account terms, marketplace rules, access controls, and technical requirements.

Marketplace request approval is not automatic. Veltria may review the requester's identity, company, use case, geography, data scope, compliance risk, and licensing fit before approving access.

9. Accuracy, estimates, and updates

Company data changes frequently. Revenue bands, headcount signals, ownership indicators, traffic estimates, industry classifications, and similar fields may be estimated, incomplete, stale, or directional.

Veltria uses reasonable cleaning and quality-control workflows, but does not guarantee that every record is complete, current, or error-free. Customers should independently verify decisions that have legal, financial, or operational consequences.

10. No contact-data dependency

Veltria's marketplace positioning is intentionally company-level. Customers should not treat the data as consent for direct marketing to individuals or as a source of personal contact permissions.

If a customer's workflow involves outreach, the customer is responsible for complying with all applicable marketing, privacy, anti-spam, and platform rules.

11. Fees, quotes, and delivery

Fees, package scope, update frequency, and delivery format are determined by the applicable quote, invoice, marketplace order, or written confirmation. Online checkout is currently paused until Veltria's payment account verification is complete.

Custom slices, refreshes, expanded rights, redistribution rights, commercial embedding, or API-style usage may require separate pricing and written approval.

12. Suspension and termination

Veltria may suspend or terminate access if a customer violates these Customer Terms, exceeds the licensed scope, fails to pay, creates legal or security risk, misuses marketplace access, or redistributes data without authorization.

On termination, the customer must stop using the data except as required for legal recordkeeping or as otherwise permitted in a signed agreement or marketplace order.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Veltria data is provided as-is unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veltria disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, complete accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veltria will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or decisions made using the data.

14. Conflicts

If these Customer Terms conflict with a signed agreement between Veltria and the customer, the signed agreement controls. If these Customer Terms conflict with a marketplace order, the marketplace order controls for marketplace-specific procurement, access, and billing terms, while these Customer Terms continue to apply to data usage unless superseded.
